A special exhibit on Anne Frank’s life will open at Hamilton’s Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum next month. It will feature artifacts from the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam, never before shown in Canada.
“Anne Frank: A history for today” will be on display at the museum in Mount Hope from March 12th until the end of August. Frank spent two years hiding during the Nazi occupation of Holland, and recorded her experience in a diary.
The exhibit reminds visitors of the cultural, ethnic, religious and political differences that exist today. The Canadian Warplane Heritage display will also focus on Canada’s role in the liberation of Holland.
