Animal Welfare investigates injured, dead animals found in Haldimand County: OPP

Animal Welfare Services attended a property in Haldimand County after police found several dead animals while responding to a landlord tenant dispute Wednesday night.

Ontario Provincial Police arrived at the address shortly before 7 p.m. and found five dead calves, as well as multiple calves, pigs, sheep and chickens in critical condition.

OPP said a veterinarian called to the scene had to euthanize several animals.

Animal Welfare Services removed the livestock from the property and is now investigating.
