Former NDP Leader and current Hamilton centre MPP Andrea Horwath will be announcing her run for Hamilton mayor Tuesday morning.

Horwath says she’ll step down as MPP to focus on her campaign, and says details of her platform will be coming out over the next few weeks.

Horwath will be making an official announcement tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. at Commonwealth Square.

Horwath is the fourth person to declare their candidacy for mayor to replace outgoing mayor Fred Eisenberger.
