The first report came on August 20th. A woman told police that she was walking alone in the area of Barton Street East and Gage Avenue North. That is when a man in a white Honda Accord approached her, told her he was an Uber driver and offered a free ride. She says that she was sexually assaulted before she was dropped off at her destination.

The second report came on September 16th. This time another woman was walking alone in the area of Parkdale Avenue and Queenston Road. Her story matches the first report.

Vu was arrested on Friday, October 16th. He has been charged with four counts of sexual assault, and two counts of forcible confinement.

Police say they believe there are more victims. They encourage anyone with further information to contact Detective Phil Hedgcock of the Sexual Assault Unit at (905) 540-5544.

UPDATE: Vu appeared in court on Saturday, and has been released on conditions.
