Alek Minassian’s father says he is not tailoring his testimony to help his son

Alek Minassian’s father finished testifying today, mostly defending against prosecution suggestions that he was exaggerating his son’s autism traits to fit a not criminally responsible defence.

Minassian has admitted he was behind the wheel of a rented van in April 2018, accelerating toward pedestrians to inflict mass damage, killing 10 and intending to kill the 16 others who were hit.
