Here’s what not to bring to the airport this holiday season

More than 2.5 million people will fly out of Pearson Airport this holiday season, making it the busiest time of year for air travel.
The rules about what you can carry on the plane are pretty clear, but some travelers are still trying to bring some unique items on their trips.
“So we do see replicas of ammunition, we also have a fake grenade that someone tried to bring, it appears to be a perfume bottle but it looks like a weapon,” said Christine Langlois, CATSA Spokesperson.
You can check out the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority website to ensure what you’re bringing is allowed.
The busiest travel days are between December 16 and January 6 and getting through security will slow you down if you don’t have your liquids packed in small 100 millilitres bottles and stored in a plastic bag. You’re only allowed to bring up to 250 millilitres of powder in your carry-on as well.
If you’re flying in Canada, you’re allowed to bring 30 grams of cannabis, roughly a sandwich bag full.
