Airbus to announce expansion in Fort Erie

Manufacturing jobs in the Niagara region are getting a boost.

Airbus Helicopters Canada will announce plans Tuesday morning to expand its helicopter manufacturing facilities in Fort Erie.

The announcement comes on the heels of next month’s by-elections in Thornhill and Niagara Falls. Candidates are putting an emphasis on creating manufacturing jobs in the region.
