Actress slags Hamilton

Canadian actress Shenae Grimes is backtracking from tweets she made yesterday about Hamilton.

Grimes is in the city shooting a Lifetime TV movie and tweeted out this vulgar description of the city:

Biggest thanks to the supportive and patient love of my life for putting up with the long hours in buttf*ck Hamilton! Love you my babe x

After some backlash she tweeted:

Ouch! Way to misconstrue social media and have a negative perspective. Had an awesome time shooting in the beautiful forests of Hamilton…

Hamilton’s film and television office says it found the comments interesting as other big stars filming here now have nothing but positive reaction to the city. Charlie Hunnam and Jessica Chastain are in town working on the movie Crimson Peak.
