Activist kicked out of Canada for throwing pie

It was the pie in the face, seen around the world.


And it has cost a New York woman the privilege of being allowed to come to Canada, for at least two years.
Emily McCoy pleaded guilty Thursday to assault, for throwing a tofu cream pie in the face of federal fisheries minister Gail Shea.
It happened January 2010, at the Canada Centre for Inland Waters in Burlington.
Lisa Hepfner was at the Milton courthouse for McCoy’s plea and sentencing.
