Accused con-artist nabbed

Hamilton police have tracked down an accused “con artist”.

20-year old Jacob Miranda was arrested getting off a bus in Toronto Thursday night.

He was wanted for several scams; accused of offering concert and sports tickets, or electronic devices, at discounted prices through social media sites.

Police say people who paid for the tickets or electronics didn’t get them.

In August, he was charged after more than 20 people across Canada were defrauded.
