Accident at GM St. Catharines

A man — believed to be in his 50’s — has been taken to hospital after an industrial accident at the General Motors plant in St. Catharines.

There are reports he was trapped in a machine at the plant on Glendale Avenue.

Police say the man was a contractor, not a GM employee.

Police and the Ministry of Labour are investigating.
