A new government program allows hospitals to hire senior-level nursing students

The strain of the covid-19 pandemic on the healthcare system is continuing to grow. But Hamilton Health Sciences has joined a new program that will provide additional support for the hospitals during the pandemic. The nursing extern program by the Ontario Ministry of Health allows hospitals to hire senior-level nursing students. Manesa Dhanabalan reports.
