It was four years ago Wednesday that Hamilton and the CHCH community lost a valued journalist and family man…

When Randy Steele died of cancer in 2009, he left behind his wife Maggie and four beautiful daughters.

On this day, his girls cut the ribbon on the “Kids of Steele” room at the Wellwood Juravinski House.

The space is dedicated to Randy’s daughters as a safe haven for kids dealing with cancer. It’s meant to be an escape when hospital visits, chemotherapy and cancer symptoms take over….
