Hundreds attend Daddy and Daughter Fairytale Ball in Hamilton

It was a magical time for hundreds of little girls on Sunday at the Daddy and Daughter Fairytale Ball.
The event is in its ninth year and raises funds for McMaster Children’s Hospital.
This year’s proceeds will be specifically going towards creating a safe and controlled environment at the hospital for children with autism, Down syndrome, brain injuries and developmental disabilities.
The organizers say they started the dance years ago and it has grown significantly over the years.
The last ball was held back in 2020 and raised around $6,000 for the hospital.
This year’s ball has raised about $4,000.
For the dads, it was a bonus to give back, but for many of the little girls, being with their dad was their favourite part.
