9 arrested, 3 injured following Georgetown shooting: Halton police

Halton police have arrested nine people following a shooting in Georgetown Monday night that injured three people.
Officers responded to reports of shots fired around 10:30 p.m. at a home on Winston Churchill Blvd. north of Guelph St.
Police arrived to find a male victim with gunshot wounds and he was then taken to hospital.
Shortly after, a bullet-ridden Dodge Durango arrived at the Georgetown Hospital and police were notified. The SUV carried several people inside, including two victims who had sustained gunshot wounds.

Police have confirmed that all three men were injured in the same shooting incident. Officers say all three are in serious but stable condition.
A short time later, police found a suspect vehicle and conducted a stop. At the time, four men were arrested and a firearm was seized.
Investigators say an additional five men have since been arrested in relation to this incident.
Anyone who may have dash cam footage of the incident in the area between 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Monday is asked to call police at 905-824-4777 ext. 2416.
