78 year old Flamborough woman charged with stunt driving

A 78 year old woman from Flamborough has been charged with stunt driving.

On May 11, just before 10pm, a Hamilton police officer was in the area of Centre Rd and Huisam Lane conducting a traffic enforcement.

The police officer saw a vehicle they believed to be speeding well about the posted speed limit.

The officer ended up clocking the woman going 140 km/hr in a 70 km/hr zone.

The woman was charged with stunt driving. Her licence was taken and her vehicle towed from the scene and impounded for 7 days.

The woman will appear in court at a later date.
