Police officers from across Ontario are in the middle of a 700km bike ride to Ottawa.
The “Ride to Remember” started this morning at the Ontario Police College in Aylmer. From there, over 100 cyclists from the Niagara, Hamilton, Halton, York and Peel Police services biked 100km to Ancaster.
After a quick lunch break, they continued on to Toronto. The ride honours police officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty. Officers from as far as British Columbia and New York took part today.
