70-year-old man charged in relation to woman’s death in Burlington

A 70-year-old man is in custody after a woman was found dead in her apartment in Burlington on Friday.

Halton Regional Police responded to an apartment building at 695 Regency Court and discovered an unconscious woman. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The female victim’s identity will not be released at the request of her family.

Police have arrested a 70-year-old man and the homicide unit has taken charge of the investigation. Charges for the man are pending.
