The Niagara Regional Police Service has charged a 60-year-old man for allegedly attempting to lure a minor.

Officers say a joint investigation with provincial authorities began back in February, investigating a man who lived in Niagara Falls.

On Feb. 26, they carried out a search warrant at the man’s home and seized several devices “capable of storing electronic data.”

Police say Gil Manuel Massa was taken into custody and charged with three counts of exposure to a person under 16 years of age and one count of luring a child via telecommunication to facilitate sexual interference.
