$6.9 million in cell phones stolen in truck heist: Peel police

Peel Regional Police is appealing for witnesses after a driver was held at gunpoint during a large scale truck heist in Brampton.
It happened around 7:50 p.m. on March 13 in the area of Steeles Ave. East and Goreway Dr.
Police say a delivery truck was leaving the warehouse when armed suspects forced their way into the cab of the truck and pulled a gun on the 33-year-old driver.

The suspects fled the area with the stolen goods and the driver contacted police. He was not injured during the incident.
