Senior abuse charge in Hamilton

Hamilton police have charged a man after receiving a complaint that he was neglecting his 87-year old mother.  Police say the woman was admitted to hospital on January 18th with serious medical problems and signs of neglect.  Hamilton police later learned her son was responsible for her care.  The 57-year old man has been charged with failing to provide the necessaries of life.  His name isn’t be released to protect his mother’s identity.
