52 catalytic converters stolen in Burlington, 4 Hamilton residents charged

Four Hamilton residents have been arrested in connection with a series of catalytic converter thefts in Burlington.
Halton police say 52 catalytic converters have been stolen in the city since October 2019.
Investigators were proactively patrolling parking lots on Tuesday and spotted four people removing a catalytic converter from a vehicle parked at the Aldershot GO Station.
Justin Turcotte, 28, Christopher Palinkas, 34, Adam Morin, 22, and Amy-Lyn Morin, 33, have been arrested and charged with theft under $5,000. Turcotte and Adam Morin are also facing additional charges.
