Police are offering a $50,000 reward for information into the death of a Hamilton man two years ago.
Michael Sullivan, 51, was run down while riding his bike on Barton St in Hamilton. Police released surveillance video showing Sullivan being chased by a black Ford F150 pickup truck, which took off.
Sullivan had severe head injuries and didn’t regain consciousness. He died in hospital nearly three months later. Sullivan’s sister Teresa Mummery urged witnesses to come forward.
“The driver that murdered my brother, this man has not yet been held accountable for his actions. Michael’s murder is the only one that has not been solved in the year 2013.
“There are people with information who have not come forward to give the identity of the man who killed my brother. The man that was driving the truck that day and deliberately knocked him from his bike, and left him critically injured, laying him on the ground.”
“The driver did not stop to help, he just fled away like a coward.”
Police say a woman was charged in 2014 with obstruction of justice for allegedly misleading investigators.
