5 people hospitalized after 2-vehicle crash in Milton

Five people are in hospital following a two-vehicle collision in Milton Friday morning.

Halton police say the collision happened around 9:20 a.m. at the intersection of James Snow Parkway North and Steeles Avenue East.

The collision reconstruction unit is currently at the scene investigating.

The westbound lanes of Steeles Avenue East are currently closed between James Snow Parkway North and Fifth Line North. Officers say there are also eastbound lane reductions.

Motorists are asked to avoid the area.

The Collision Reconstruction Unit is responding to a collision involving two vehicles in Milton.

WB lanes from No. 5 Side Road to James Snow Parkway are closed. Lane reductions are also in effect for EB lanes.
