5 arrests made, 2 guns seized after firearm incident in Stoney Creek

Hamilton police have arrested five people and seized two handguns after a firearm-related incident in Stoney Creek.

Around 10 a.m. on Saturday, police attended the area of Candlewood Dr. and Rymal Rd. East, for a firearm related incident.

Officers say two firearms were seized and five people were arrested, four males ages 22, 18, 17, 16 and one 22-year-old woman.

All five of the people arrested are facing weapon related charges.

There were no physical injuries during this incident.
