$490 fine for blocking emergency vehicle

A 20 year old Hamilton man will have to pay a $490 dollar fine after being charged with failing to yield to emergency vehicle.

Police say an ambulance with lights and sirens on, was attempting to change lanes on Main Street to try and get to the south side of Main but the driver wouldn’t let the ambulance through.

Police saw what happened and stopped the driver.

The driver was also charged with driving while under suspension.
