$4,500 worth of Nintendo video games stolen in Walmart robbery: Halton police

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect after $4,500 worth of Nintendo video games were stolen from a Georgetown Walmart on July 2.
Police say that around 7:15 a.m. a male suspect entered the Walmart at 300 Guelph St.
The suspect was standing near a glass cabinet containing Nintendo video games that had been unlocked by a staff member.

Officers say that a struggle then ensued between the suspect and staff member as he attempted to steal from the case.
The suspect fled the store with approximately $4,500 worth of Nintendo video games.

The staff member sustained minor injuries in the altercation.
Investigators say that there were no weapons seen or indicated during the robbery.
The suspect is described as a Black male and approximately six-feet tall with a slim build. He was last seen wearing dark clothing, black and white running shoes and a blue “LA Dodgers” baseball cap.
