424 Transport and Rescue Squadron celebrates 75 years

There was a special ceremony today at the Warplane Heritage Museum to recognize the 75th anniversary of the 424 Transport and Rescue Squadron.

The unveiling of new artwork on the aircraft pays homage to the Tigers’ historical connection to Hamilton. And it marks the beginning of national search and rescue exercise which run until next week.

The 424 Squadron will be hosting a gala in honour of of the anniversary on Sept. 28.
