4,000 lbs of lead, ship radiators stolen from Port Dover property

Ontario Provincial Police is investigating after roughly 4,000 lbs of lead was stolen from a shipyard in Port Dover.

Police were called to a property on Chapman St. East after the owner called to report a theft.

OPP says the suspects removed the large amount of lead during the early morning hours of Nov. 22.

Police say the same suspects came back the following day and stole several large ship radiators after breaking into a shipping container.

Investigators believe the thefts are valued at roughly $5,000.
