4 people from Montreal area charged in Oakville auto theft case

Halton police have arrested and charged four people in connection with a vehicle theft investigation in Oakville.

Officers found two stolen Toyota 4Runners in the parking garage of Oakville Trafalgar Hospital around 8 p.m. Monday.

Investigators also arrested two men and two women who are from the Montreal area.

Twenty-four-year-old Youssoupha Diop, 25-year-old Raffaele-Giulio Draicchio, 19-year-old Darcy Nicolas and 21-year-old Pauline Kone are each facing four charges, including two counts of possession of property obtained by crime.

All accused were held in custody pending a bail hearing.
