3rd suspect charged with murder in Danzig shooting

Video updated Police have charged a third teen with murder in the the worst mass shooting in Toronto history: last summer’s deadly Danzig street shootout.

A 17-year-old boy was arrested last night and charged with two counts of second-degree murder, as well as attempted murder, reckless discharge of a firearm, and 22 counts of aggravated assault. He cannot be named because of his age.

Two people died in the Scarborough shooting this summer and 23 others were hurt. Shayanne Charles, 14, and Joshua Yasay, 23, were killed when they were caught in the crossfire.

Yesterday police announced Nahom Tseigazab, 19, was charged with second degree murder, attempted murder and assault. Earlier this month police charged Shaquan Mesquito, 18, with two counts of first-degree murder, attempted murder and 23 counts of aggravated assault.
