3rd day of deliberations in Figliola murder trial

The jury in the murder trial of a Stoney Creek woman has begun a third day of deliberations.
Maria Figliola is charged with first degree murder, accused of hiring a hit man to kill her husband Frank in 2001.
The crown says Figliola had him killed because she wanted his money, and he was about to leave her because he knew about the affair she was having. She told friends at work that she had the means to get rid of Frank, and she had three scenarios of how it could be done, including having someone wait for him when he went for his usual walk on a lonely pathway.
Frank was found beaten to death on a path in Stoney Creek. The defence says he was killed because he was heavily involved in gambling. The jury is reviewing more than 200 exhibits from the trial. Maria received almost $250,000 in insurance after his death.
The judge has basically told the jury that they have to decide who to believe, and that they can go over the evidence as much as they want. There is no way to know when the jury will reach a decision, but you can be sure we will have the update on CHCH as soon as it happens.
