34-year-old man suffers life-altering injuries in ATV crash near Fort Erie

Niagara police are investigating after an ATV crash near Fort Erie on Wednesday resulted in life-altering injuries for the 34-year-old driver.

Police responded around 12:30 p.m. to a single-vehicle crash involving an ATV on Stevensville Road between Bowen Road and Carver Street.

Investigators say the ATV hit a metal fence and the driver was airlifted to an out of region hospital. He reportedly suffered life-altering injuries.

No one else was involved in the crash and police say they continue to investigate what caused it.
