A Hamilton man was killed this weekend in a deadly motorcycle collision. Police say he was riding a stolen motorcycle when he crashed into a van on the Hamilton mountain Friday night.

Police say a Honda motorcycle and Chevrolet van collided in the intersection of Stone Church Rd. East and Upper Wentworth St. shortly before 7 p.m.

Witnesses in the area say it looked like the bike crashed into the side of the minivan.

First responders treated the 33-year-old Hamilton man riding the bike on scene. He was transported to hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The driver of the van, a 49-year-old Hamilton woman, was taken to hospital as well but with non-life threatening injuries.
