3 vehicles stolen from homes within 10 days in Norfolk County: OPP

Ontario Provincial Police have launched an investigation after three vehicles were reported stolen from three separate properties over a 10 day period in Norfolk County.

Officers say the first vehicle was stolen from a home on Concession 5 Townsend Road summertime between 12 a.m. on Nov. 11 and 7 a.m. on Nov. 15 when an unknown suspect or suspects stole the vehicle that was parked on the property.

That vehicle is described as a black 2011 Jaguar CXH sedan.

On Nov. 15, reports were received of the theft of another vehicle from a home on Queensway East.

It has been determined that the red 2004 GMC Sierra pick-up truck was removed from the property where it was parked between the times of 5:40 p.m. and 5:55 p.m. that same day.

This past Tuesday, OPP were called to a home located on Highway 59 for reports of a similar style motor vehicle theft.

The gray 2017 Chevrolet Cruze sedan is believed to have been removed from the property at some point in the late evening or early morning.

OPP are reminding residents in the area to lock all vehicles and remove valuables.

Investigators have released a series of images of similar style vehicles and are seeking the publics’ help as they continue the search for them.

An investigation into the thefts is active and ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 1-888-310-1122.
