3 people suffer injuries in serious collision: OPP

Ontario Provincial Police is investigating after a serious collision sent three people to hospital.

Emergency crews were called to a two-vehicle crash on Wellington Rd. 24, just southeast of Hillsburgh in the town of Erin around 5 a.m. Sunday.

Police learned two sedans had collided and three people were hurt.

A woman, who was a passenger in one of the vehicles, was transferred to a trauma centre with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Police say the two drivers were also taken to hospital but with less serious injuries.

Police are still trying to determine the cause of the crash.
