Niagara police have made three arrests after a series of thefts in Fort Erie and Pelham overnight.

Police were called to a suspicious person in the area of Grandview Rd. and Crescent Rd. in Fort Erie on Thursday.

Officers spotted a grey Nissan Armada fleeing the scene but did not chase the vehicle out of concern for public safety.

The area was searched and police located the vehicle after it had crashed. Police say the passengers all fled the scene but were quickly arrested a short distance away.

Police searched the Nissan and located several pieces of property believed to have been stolen from Pelham and Fort Erie overnight. The Nissan was also reported stolen.

Ann Stamp, 20, Jazmyn Falconer, 33, and Bryne Fuller, 22, are facing several theft-related charges.

The trio is scheduled for a court appearance in St. Catharines on Friday.

Detectives are currently in the process of contacting the owners of the seized property and more charges may be laid in the future.

Anyone with any information is asked to call Det. Cst. Matt Maguire at 905-688-4111, option 3, and badge number 9369.
