2nd man charged with murder in Danzig shooting
Toronto Police are now charging a second man with murder in the shooting that broke out between rival gangs at a street barbecue in July.
Two people were killed in the shooting and 23 others were injured. The dead included Shayanne Charles, 14, along with 23 year old, Joshua Yasay. One alleged shooter has already been charged with first-degree murder, attempted murder and assault.
Police announced 26 new charges today against another man: Nahom Tseigazab, 19, who was already facing other charges. Staff inspector Greg McLane says they’re looking for more possible suspects.
“(Tseigazab) will be charged with additional offences, two counts second degree murder, one count of attempted murder and 22 counts of aggravated assault.”
“We have reason to believe based on our investigation that there are a mininum of one or two more shooters involved in this incident.”

Police are asking the public to look again at a composite drawing of two men they describe as persons of interest. They’ve identified one of them but haven’t released his name. And they say they’re confident there will be more charges from the shooting.
