Police say they’ve arrested another suspect in connection to a stabbing that took place at a social lounge in Niagara Falls last year.

On Wednesday, police took 21-year-old Sahir Channan into custody and charged him with aggravated assault, assault and public mischief.

Sahir shares the same last name as another man who was arrested in connection to the incident last summer.

In July of 2023, authorities were called out to the Euphoria Social Lounge at 6092 Main St., where they found two men with stab wounds in the back parking lot.

The two men, one who was in his 30s and the other who was in his 40s, were taken to an out-of-region hospital with serious injuries. A third man, who was in his 20s, was treated on scene by paramedics for minor injuries.

“The initial investigation determined there had been a disturbance inside the Euphoria Social Lounge that escalated and became violent,” police wrote in their first update on the incident.

Following their initial report, police arrested and charged the club’s owner, 27-year-old Sameer Channan, with two counts of aggravated assault.

Police say Wednesday’s arrest was the result of the efforts of their forensic video unit in conjunction with their technological crimes unit.

The connection the two share at this time remains to be determined.

The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information relating to the incident from July 23, 2023, is asked to contact investigators by calling 905-688-4111, option 3, extension 1009128.
