Brant County OPP have reunited a 2-year-old boy with his family after a good samaritan found him running down a Paris street Thursday morning.

Police say that when the samaritan saw the child, they took him home and unsuccessfully tried to locate his family before contacting police.

“The County of Brant OPP would like to thank the good samaritan that approached this young boy and immediately contacted police,” says Inspector Lis Anderson, Detachment Commander – County of Brant OPP.

“As a result of their quick thinking actions, he was returned home safely to his family.”

Police located the family and reunited them with the boy.

As a result, Brant Family and Child Services were contacted.
