2 people assaulted during violent Simcoe home invasion

Police are on the hunt for three suspects after a violent home invasion occurred Monday night in Simcoe.
Norfolk Ontario Provincial Police say they received a call shortly before 9 p.m. regarding a home invasion involving three armed suspects.
OPP say the suspects forcibly gained entry and assaulted two people inside the home before fleeing in a vehicle parked outside.
Officers responded to the home but were not able to locate the suspects or vehicle.
The two victims were transported to hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The three suspects are described as male and are all approximately six-foot-four in height.
The Norfolk County OPP Crime Unit is continuing to investigate and believe that this is a targeted incident.
