2 men face multiple drug charges after Niagara Falls bust

Two Hamilton-area men face multiple drug charges stemming from a police investigation into illegal drugs sold in the Niagara region in the New Year.
From late last year into January and February detectives began following a man living in Hamilton who was travelling to Niagara to sell various drugs.
On Tuesday of this week Niagara street crime detectives — with the help of Emergency Task and K9 units — arrested two men after witnessing several suspected deals.
A search warrant also took place yesterday in a Hamilton apartment where police seized fentanyl and carfentanil valued at $110,000, suspected cocaine and crack cocaine valued at $19,000, a number of other illicit drugs and over $10,000 in Canadian.
Patrick Benson, 36, of Hamilton and Caolan Faulkner, 48, of Stoney Creek have been arrested and charged with possession of fentanyl and cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.
Benson was also charged with a number of other drug trafficking charges.
