Two Hamilton residents are facing charges following a commercial break and enter spree on the mountain.

Police say nine businesses in Ancaster and on Upper James St. in Hamilton were broken into between April 7 and 21. The thieves targeted money and electronics during the thefts.

On Wednesday, police executed a search warrant at a home in Hamilton and discovered property belonging to the businesses.

Officers arrested 40-year-old Joey Hudson and 39-year-old Patricia Edwards.

Hudson has been charged with seven counts of fail to comply and nine counts each of break and enter, and disguise with intent.

Edwards is facing one count of break and enter.

The duo is being held in police custody pending a bail hearing.
