2 arrested in Caledonia after shooting, multi-vehicle crash: Six Nations Police

Six Nations Police say two people have been arrested in connection with a shooting that led to multiple vehicle collisions in Caledonia Thursday afternoon.
According to a press release, Six Nations Police received reports of shots fired and a vehicle being rammed near Third Line Road around 2 p.m.
Upon arrival, the victim reported a grey GMC truck closely following and making aggressive hand gestures. The victim pulled over to let the truck pass, but the truck rammed them from behind, and gunshots were fired at the victim’s vehicle.
Police observed the grey truck driving erratically on Onodaga and Second Line roads and attempted to initiate a traffic stop but were unsuccessful.

Police say they called off the pursuit due to heavy traffic and dense fog on Argyle Street in Caledonia.
With the help of Halidmand OPP, the vehicle was stopped but police haven’t said exactly how.
The incident resulted in a multiple vehicle crash on King William Street a short time later. Officers say only minor injuries have been reported.
Brayden Doxtator, 26, of Oshweken and Michael Hill, 19, of Oshweken have been charged with a slew of offenses including unauthorized firearm possession, discharging firearm with intent and taking a motor vehicle without consent.
Police say they are in custody awaiting a bail hearing.
