2 adults, 2 teens charged after Hamilton police seize loaded shotgun, $185K in drugs

Two adults and two teenagers have been arrested following an early morning raid at a home in Hamilton.

Hamilton police executed a search warrant at a home in the area of Queenston Rd. and Delena Ave. South on Wednesday morning.

Officers seized a loaded Mossbery 12 gauge shotgun, a converted flare gun that police believe is capable of firing ammunition, body armour, replica firearms, ammunition and scales.

Police also seized cannabis, cocaine and methamphetamine valued at approximately $185,000.

Amanda Ransom, 37, and Marc Roy, 23, both of Hamilton were arrested at the home and face drug and firearms-related charges.

Two 15-year-old boys from Hamilton were also arrested and face similar charges.

“This is not the end. Hamilton Police will continue to engage with our community, police partners and share information in order to provide community safety,” said Hamilton police in a news release. “The citizens of Hamilton need to continue to feel safe in their communities and as a community we need to stop gun violence.”
