16th Hamilton Fringe Festival

Completely created by the collaboration of thirteen up-and-coming artists, a Time of Future Tales is one of the dozens of original performances at this year’s Hamilton Fringe Festival.
Originally from Quebec City, Eudes Laroche-Francoeur is a collaborator-in-chief for the musical, writing both words and lyrics. It’s the first time he’s brought his work to Hamilton because he was attracted to the festival by what he says is a unique excitement about fringe for young artists like him.
Braeden Soltys is one of the musical’s actors, he says fringe encourages artistic freedom which attracts performers that means people in Hamilton get to see a range of unique works that may not otherwise be available in the city.
There are more performances than ever at Fringe. All spread out over thirteen venues created by nearly 60 theatre companies from across Canada as well as France and the US. Some are free and some you need to purchase tickets but all the ticket revenue is returned to the artists to support their work.
