The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has expanded a recall of ground meat sold at a Mississauga grocery store.

Longo’s brand ground beef, ground veal, meatballs, burgers and a variety of other products sold at the Longo Brothers Fruit Market at 5636 Glen Erin Dr. in Mississauga have been recalled due to a possible E.coli contamination.

The agency says food contaminated with E. coli may not look or smell spoiled but can still make you sick. Symptoms can include nausea, vomiting, mild to severe abdominal cramps and watery to bloody diarrhea.

Consumers are being advised to throw out or return the affected product to the store.

The CFIA says there have been no reported illnesses.
