Man arrested in connection to assault on Noah Rabbani

Police have arrested a dozen people involved in a Hamilton mountain crime ring and one of the men is also charged in the attack of a 15 year old boy. 18 year old Matthew Hribar appeared in court this morning, facing more than 6 charges including the robbery and aggravated assault of Noah Rabbani.
Rabbani was walking near Fletcher and Showcase rd. around midnight on Sunday November 27th. He claims two men got out of a car and started beating him with a baseball bat and stole his backpack. The teen suffered head trauma, broken teeth and spinal injuries, he was released from hospital last week.
Hribar was arrested yesterday, along with 6 others. They range in age from 14-62. 18 year old Matthew Hribar, 18 year old Katelyn Sousa, and 27 year old Jonathan Postmus were in court today and will appear again next week.
Project Trail Finder was launched in November to combat violent crimes and break and enters that were happening on Hamilton mountain. Noah’s father told us that he’s excited the police caught someone. Noah is recovering at home, but police are still looking for at least one more suspect in the attack.
Hribar and Noah both went to Saltfleet highschool, but police say they didn’t know each other.
