Spencer Gorge rope rescue

An 18-year-old is in hospital after falling nearly 75 feet into Spencer Gorge in Dundas. Firefighters started a rope rescue for him just after eleven last night.

The Hamilton Fire department sent ten units, who worked for several hours to rescue the teen.

He was taken to hospital in serious condition, but Hamilton Fire says he was conscious at the time of the rescue.
