Fake Wonderland tickets

A warning if you’re planning on going to Canada’s Wonderland. OPP say fake, discounted tickets are being sold on the website redgroupdeals.com. At last check, more than 8000 had been bought. Investigators say Canada’s Wonderland has confirmed that tickets bought from Red Group Deals are not valid.

In one instance, police say a couple bought tickets from the site, only to discover the passes were worthless. The price on the site was quoted in Canadian dollars, but funds were deducted from their credit card in American dollars.

A disclaimer on the park’s official website states “the red deals” and “the group deals” websites are not authorized Canada’s Wonderland ticket sellers.
